1. CONTEST PERIOD: The contest begins on January 3rd, 2025, and ends on January 12th, 2025 , at 11:59 PM EST (the “Contest Period”). The draw will take place on January 13th, 2025.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The contest is open to legal residents of Canada who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry. Employees of Suzuki Canada Inc., its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
3. HOW TO ENTER: No purchase necessary. To enter the contest, participants must:
- FOLLOW: @SuzukiCanada on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
- ENGAGE: Like the original contest post on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
- MENTION: Comment “All Aboard”
Multiple entries are allowed.
4. PRIZES: Three (3) winners will each receive:
- 2x Chilly Moose Tumblers
- 2x TIBS Tickets
The total approximate retail value of each prize is $185.90 CAD.
5. WINNER SELECTION: Three (3) winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The draw will take place on January 13th, 2025. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. WINNER NOTIFICATION: The selected winners will be notified via direct message and posted on the social media platform used for entry within two (2) business days following the draw. The winners must respond within forty-eight (48) hours to claim their prize. If a selected winner does not respond within the specified time, they will forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner will be selected. The prize (Chilly Moose Tumblers) must be picked up at the Suzuki Booth (#1135) during the Toronto International Boat Show.
7. SKILL-TESTING QUESTION: To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must correctly answer a mathematical skill-testing question without assistance.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of Suzuki Canada Inc., which are final and binding. Prizes must be accepted as awarded and are not transferable or convertible to cash. No substitutions except at Suzuki Canada Inc.’s discretion. Suzuki Canada Inc. reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable. By accepting a prize, winners agree to the use of their name, city/province of residence, and likeness for advertising and publicity purposes without additional compensation. This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, or any other social media platform used to promote the contest (collectively, the “Social Media Platforms”). By participating in the contest, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Social Media Platforms from any and all liability, claims, or actions of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest, including, without limitation, any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: Suzuki Canada Inc. is not responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries, or for any technical or human errors that may occur in the administration of the contest or the processing of entries.
10. PRIVACY: By entering the contest, participants consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of their personal information by Suzuki Canada Inc. for the purposes of administering the contest and awarding prizes. Personal information will be handled in accordance with Suzuki Canada Inc.’s privacy policy.
11. GOVERNING LAW: The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
12. DISCREPANCIES: In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any contest-related materials, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail.
