Eagle Wing Tours has installed an ultimate upgrade from Suzuki. Their open boat “Serengeti” has been equipped with a trio of Suzuki V6 engines producing a combined 1,000hp! This upgrade provides an incredible amount of clean, quiet power and performance, bringing this 38-ft boat up on plane with ease.

LEAN, GREEN AND QUIET
Eagle Wing Tours chose Suzuki technology to upgrade their boats for a number of reasons, but at the top of the list: Suzuki outboard motors are lean, green and quiet! This matters to a company that leads by example with its platinum certification with GreenStep Sustainable Tourism and Sustainable Tourism 2030 pledge.
Suzuki Ultimate Outboard Motors combine the following technologies to provide power with amazing fuel economy:
LEAN BURN TECHNOLOGY
Suzuki’s Lean Burn Control System supplies the appropriate amount of fuel and air mixture depending on the navigation conditions. The advantage of this is a significant improvement in fuel economy at all speeds, especially cruising speed. This is an economical way to reduce emissions for Eagle Wing.
DUAL PROP SYSTEM
The new Suzuki Outboard Motors are equipped with a Dual Prop System which spins two propellors rotating in opposite directions on a single engine. This helps to provide superior stability when driving straight by eliminating the lateral forces associated with a single propellor. This, in turn, transfers engine power to the water more efficiently.
DUAL LOUVER SYSTEM
The dual louver system is equipped at the air intake to remove water from the air taken into the cowl. Incorporating a direct intake system makes the highest compression ratio of 12.0:1 (DF350AMD, DF350A), 10.5:1 (DF300BMD, DF300B) possible, ultimately leading to a higher engine output.
DUAL INJECTORS
Dual injectors deliver just the right amount of fuel at just the right time into the cylinder. This dual injector system contributes to higher output and better fuel efficiency.
Additionally, with the Suzuki Ultimate Outboard Motor, intake noise is suppressed with a silencer and resonator. This offers a noise reduction benefit. With the reduced noise, onboard guests can enjoy their time on the water and feel more immersed in nature.
SUZUKI’S CLEAN OCEAN PROJECT
As the world’s Ultimate Outboard Motor brand, Suzuki always remains focused on providing the ultimate marine experience, which requires a healthy and clean marine environment. Suzuki has been contributing to and growing this endeavour with localized beach clean-ups, to developing new technologies to reduce marine microplastics, and reduce emissions.
In 2021, Suzuki Canada joined the global movement with the introduction of the Micro-Plastic Collector (MPC) unit that is available on all DF115BG and DF140BG units. Suzuki also hosts clean-up events, including one in Bamfield, BC in 2022.
Suzuki’s Micro-Plastic Collector (MPC) device reduces marine plastics by passing intake water through a filtration device. Should this filtration device become full, there is a bypass to prevent it from affecting the outboard’s performance.
We hope to one day see all outboards on the water employing this technology to keep our oceans clean.
